Terrains
Crucial to my creative development is travel. A clash of ideas, hopes and dreams inspires and invigorates my thinking and work. Time away from the computer is very important to me and brings new dimensions and sides to my creative abilities.
I have long known about Foucault's concept of the "Fatal intersection of time and space" and how the tour / travel can help in understanding these intersections. To remind me of the political, social, cultural and other terrains I have traversed I have collected instruments, objects and artefacts. I present here some of the more poignant examples from my recent trip around South America and my ongoing travels around South East Asia.
